TH-05A – Thracian Peltast

A successful peltast needed to balance aggression with mobility. Moving too close to heavily armed opponents could be dangerous, while remaining too distant reduced the effectiveness of his javelins.

TH-05A – Thracian Peltast represents a warrior accustomed to this demanding form of skirmish warfare. His lighter equipment contrasts strongly with the armour and large shields carried by heavy infantry elsewhere on the battlefield.

Grouped with the numerous peltast variations in the range, the figure helps create a convincing body of Thracian warriors operating ahead of the main army.
