TH-05B – Thracian Peltast
The reputation of Thracian mercenaries extended far beyond their homeland. Their peltasts were valued by Greek commanders who recognised the usefulness of fast-moving troops capable of threatening the exposed flanks of an enemy.
TH-05B – Thracian Peltast adds another distinctive warrior to this famous light infantry force. Used alongside heavier troops, peltasts could create opportunities by forcing an opponent to react to repeated missile attacks.
This B variation can be mixed with its companion figure and the wider TH series to produce a diverse formation with plenty of individual character.
The Military Workshop offers TH-05B as another finely detailed John Jenkins figure for expanding a Thracian or ancient Greek battlefield.
