TH-07A – Thracian Peltast

Ancient Greek armies increasingly recognised the value of troops capable of fighting outside the traditional hoplite battle line. Among the most famous specialists in this style of warfare were the Thracian peltasts.

TH-07A – Thracian Peltast represents a warrior whose speed and lighter equipment allowed him to operate effectively where heavily armoured infantry could struggle.

The figure adds another individual pose to the Thracian ranks and is particularly effective when several different peltasts are spread across the front and flanks of a larger ancient army.
