TWG-12 – Locrian Ajax, The Greeks
The Greek army at Troy included two heroes named Ajax. While Ajax the Great was the towering warrior from Salamis, Ajax the Lesser, also known as Locrian Ajax, commanded the Locrian contingent.
In Homer’s Iliad, he is described as a fast and capable warrior, particularly skilled with the spear. Although physically smaller than Ajax the Great, he nevertheless earned a prominent place among the Greek commanders fighting before Troy.
TWG-12 – Locrian Ajax brings another named hero into the Greek ranks and is an excellent companion to the other kings, princes and champions represented throughout the Trojan War collection.
