Among the many Greek contingents that sailed to Troy, the Myrmidons became legendary as the warriors commanded by Achilles. In Homer’s Iliad, they are portrayed as a formidable fighting force whose fortunes were closely tied to their famous leader.

TWG-16 – Myrmidon Warrior represents one of these renowned Greek fighters, equipped to take his place among the warriors who followed Achilles from Phthia to the shores of Troy.

Combined with TWG-17 and the other Myrmidon releases, this figure allows collectors to build a dedicated contingent around Achilles and Patroclus, adding another important element to the Greek army.
