Among all the Greek contingents that sailed for Troy, few have achieved the legendary reputation of the Myrmidons. These formidable warriors came from Phthia and fought under the command of Achilles, the greatest warrior of the Greek army.

In Homer’s Iliad, the Myrmidons remain away from much of the fighting while Achilles quarrels with Agamemnon. They eventually return to battle under Patroclus, with devastating effect.

TWG-17 – Myrmidon Warrior represents one of these famous fighting men and makes an ideal addition to a force centred around Achilles and his companions.
