TWT-04 – Paris, Trojan War

Few figures are more closely associated with the beginning of the Trojan War than Paris, Prince of Troy. His judgement in the famous contest between Hera, Athena and Aphrodite ultimately led to his relationship with Helen of Sparta and the chain of events that brought the Greek armies to Troy.

Paris was also a warrior and particularly associated with the bow. In later tradition, it was his arrow, guided by Apollo, that struck Achilles in his vulnerable heel and brought about the death of the greatest Greek warrior.

TWT-04 – Paris therefore represents one of the central personalities of the entire Trojan War story and makes an essential addition alongside Hector, Priam and the other Trojan heroes.
