TWT-05 – Deiphobus, Prince of Troy

Deiphobus was a son of King Priam and Queen Hecuba and one of the Trojan princes who fought in defence of their city. Although overshadowed in popular retellings by his brother Hector, Deiphobus was regarded as one of Troy’s most capable warriors.

Following Hector’s death, Deiphobus became increasingly prominent among the surviving Trojan leadership. His story is also closely connected with Helen, whom later traditions say he married after the death of Paris.
