TWT-26D – Trojan Warriors
The defence of Troy depended upon warriors fighting together.
Although Homer naturally focuses upon the exploits of famous heroes, the battles outside Troy involved large bodies of soldiers advancing behind their commanders, protecting themselves with shields and fighting at close quarters with spear and sword.
The Trojans repeatedly demonstrated that they were capable of more than simply defending their city. Under Hector’s leadership they launched powerful attacks against the Greeks, eventually driving them back towards their ships.
For a time, victory for Troy appeared tantalisingly close.
TWT-26D – Trojan Warriors brings two defenders together, creating an instant fighting pair that can be incorporated into a much larger formation.
Available from The Military Workshop, TWT-26D is an excellent way to strengthen King Priam’s army and add greater weight to the Trojan side of a battlefield display.
