TWTLK-02 – Two Lycian Warriors

The great city of Troy did not face the Greeks alone. In Homer’s Iliad, King Priam was supported by allies from across Anatolia and beyond, and among the most highly regarded were the Lycians from the mountainous south-western region of Anatolia.

Led by the celebrated heroes Sarpedon and Glaucus, the Lycian contingent fought alongside the Trojans and earned a prominent place within Homer’s account of the war. Sarpedon in particular was portrayed as one of Troy’s most formidable allied leaders.

TWTLK-02 – Two Lycian Warriors brings a pair of these important Trojan allies to the battlefield, adding greater variety to a force that need not consist solely of Trojan warriors.
