US5ART-03 – 12-pdr. Howitzer, 5th U.S. Artillery

The 12-pounder howitzer provided artillery units with a useful weapon capable of delivering explosive shells against enemy troops and positions. Its relatively compact design also made it more manoeuvrable than many heavier pieces of field artillery.

US5ART-03 – 12-pdr. Howitzer, 5th U.S. Artillery recreates one of these important weapons in miniature and provides collectors with the centrepiece around which a complete American gun position can be constructed.

Add the dedicated artillery crew, ammunition and other battlefield accessories to recreate the activity surrounding a working battery as the gun is positioned, loaded and prepared to fire.
