The fighting along the Canadian-American frontier during the War of 1812 could be extremely fierce, with disciplined infantry exchanging volleys at relatively short distances before battles developed into confused and costly encounters.

USCH-06 – Scott’s Brigade, Wounded Figures portrays the human consequences of this fighting. Rather than another group advancing in perfect formation, these casualties show the disruption and suffering that inevitably accompanied battlefield action.

Wounded figures can dramatically improve a diorama by breaking up the regular appearance of marching or firing troops and giving the scene a much stronger sense of narrative.
