USN023 – U.S. Navy F4U Corsair LE250 | King & Country

The legendary Vought F4U Corsair became one of the most recognisable American fighter aircraft of the Pacific War, renowned for its distinctive inverted gull wings, powerful engine and formidable combat performance. This King & Country release depicts an aircraft of VF-84 operating from the aircraft carrier USS Bunker Hill during the latter stages of World War II.

Finished in the striking overall U.S. Navy blue colour scheme, aircraft No. 122 carries the distinctive white arrow markings associated with Bunker Hill. The model captures the purposeful appearance of a carrier-based Corsair ready for its next Pacific mission and makes an impressive centrepiece alongside U.S. Navy flight deck personnel and accessories.

Originally released in July 2016, USN023 was produced as a strict limited edition of just 250 pieces worldwide and was subsequently retired by King & Country, making it an increasingly desirable aircraft for collectors of their Pacific War series.
