VIK-23A – Viking Warrior

Behind the legendary reputation of the Vikings stood individual warriors accustomed to a world in which military ability could bring wealth, status and opportunity. Norse expeditions ranged from small-scale raids to major military campaigns involving substantial armies.

VIK-23A – Viking Warrior represents one of these early medieval fighting men. His individual pose allows him to be incorporated naturally among larger groups, whether standing within a shield wall or involved in the confused fighting that followed when opposing formations broke apart.

Together with VIK-23B and other releases from the series, the figure helps collectors create a Viking force made up of recognisably different warriors rather than repeated identical poses.
