The bow was a practical and versatile weapon throughout the Viking Age, used not only for hunting but also in warfare. Before warriors armed with swords, spears and axes entered close combat, archers could weaken or disrupt the opposing ranks from a distance.

VIK-38A – Viking Archers brings another group of bowmen to the Norse ranks, providing collectors with greater variety when creating a dedicated missile contingent.
