VIK-38B – Viking Archers – Standing Firing in Red Tunic & Kneeling Firing in Purple Tunic

Although the Viking warrior is most often associated with the sword, axe and shield, archery was an important part of Norse warfare. Bows allowed warriors to engage an enemy before the opposing lines met and could also be used to defend ships, settlements and fortified positions.

VIK-38B – Viking Archers features two contrasting figures: one standing and firing in a red tunic, and the other kneeling and firing in a purple tunic. Their different firing positions create a particularly natural-looking pair for a battlefield scene.

Positioned behind a shield wall or operating from the flank, these archers add both colour and an important missile element to a larger Viking force.
