WAD-21A – Australian 1st Light Car Patrol 1917, Ford Model T “Bung” – Driver

Behind the wheel of every Light Car Patrol vehicle was a driver responsible for keeping both men and machine moving through some of the most demanding terrain encountered during the First World War.

WAD-21A – “Bung” Driver represents the Australian serviceman at the controls of the Ford Model T “Bung” in 1917. Mechanical reliability was essential in the desert, where breakdowns far from support could quickly become a serious problem.

Designed to accompany the Bung vehicle and its machine gunner, the driver helps transform the Model T from a standalone vehicle into a complete working patrol.

Available at The Military Workshop – a highly useful John Jenkins crew figure for collectors recreating the Australian 1st Light Car Patrol and its remarkable Ford Model Ts.
