WAD-22C – Australian 1st Light Car Patrol 1917, Ford Model T “Imshi” – Machine Gunner
Mobility alone was not enough for the Australian Light Car Patrols operating in the Middle East. Their vehicles could also carry machine guns, giving these lightweight Model Ts a surprising amount of firepower.
WAD-22C – “Imshi” Machine Gunner represents the crewman responsible for operating the vehicle's machine gun, adding an important fighting component to the Ford Model T patrol.
Combined with the Imshi vehicle and its other crew figures, the machine gunner helps recreate the remarkable mixture of improvisation, mobility and firepower that characterised these early military motorised units.
Available through The Military Workshop – an action-oriented John Jenkins figure for completing the Australian Light Car Patrol's Ford Model T “Imshi”.
