WH133 – Lying Prone Rifleman

A prone firing position offered a soldier a lower profile and greater stability when using his rifle, making it particularly useful when taking advantage of whatever cover the battlefield provided.

WH133 – Lying Prone Rifleman depicts a German infantryman down close to the ground with his weapon ready. The low pose makes the figure particularly effective at the front of a defensive position, behind rubble or alongside other soldiers engaged in a firefight.

Unlike standing figures, the prone rifleman also helps vary the height and shape of an infantry formation, making a larger group appear much more natural.

Available from The Military Workshop – a versatile King & Country rifleman for adding another firing position and greater battlefield realism to a WWII German infantry display.
