The 19th Light Dragoons formed an important mounted element of British forces in India, where cavalry could exploit open ground, scout ahead of the main army and respond rapidly as battlefield conditions changed.

WIN19-03 – Trooper depicts one of the regiment’s horsemen, offering collectors another individual pose for building a varied cavalry formation.

When several different troopers are displayed together, the effect is particularly impressive – a collection of individual mounted figures becomes a body of cavalry moving as a regiment across the battlefield.
