A marching column needed leadership and organisation, particularly when large numbers of troops and equipment were moving along crowded wartime roads.

WS114 – Marching Waffen-SS Officer provides a natural command figure for the accompanying marching soldiers in the WS series. Positioned at the head or alongside his men, the officer gives a larger formation a much clearer sense of purpose.

The figure can also be incorporated into parade, inspection or assembly scenes, offering considerably different display possibilities from the usual battlefield action poses.
