During the final stages of the Second World War, members of the Hitler Youth were increasingly drawn into military and defensive duties as Germany struggled with severe shortages of manpower.

WS188 – Hitlerjugend Guard represents a young guard in this late-war setting, providing a figure suited to checkpoints, headquarters and urban defensive scenes.

Combined with Volkssturm figures and other late-war releases, the guard can help recreate the atmosphere of Germany during the increasingly chaotic final months of the conflict.
