WS203 – NCO with Binos

A good battlefield leader needed to know what was happening beyond his immediate position. Binoculars were therefore an invaluable tool, allowing officers and NCOs to study terrain, identify enemy movement and observe neighbouring units.

WS203 – NCO with Binos depicts a German non-commissioned officer carefully surveying the area ahead.

The figure can accompany an infantry section, observe from a defensive position or stand beside a vehicle while assessing the route forward. His pose also makes him useful for directing attention towards another part of a larger diorama.
