Radio communications transformed battlefield command, allowing units to exchange information and orders much faster than had been possible in earlier conflicts.

WS236 – Radioman represents a German soldier carrying the communications equipment needed to maintain contact with commanders and neighbouring units.

He is particularly effective alongside an officer or NCO, where the pair can form a small command group coordinating the movement of infantry or armour.
