WS319 – Renault FT-17 #121 LE150 | King & Country
The Renault FT-17 was one of the most important tank designs of the First World War and helped establish the basic layout that would influence armoured vehicles for decades to come. With its engine at the rear, driver at the front and fully rotating turret above, the compact French tank represented a major step forward in battlefield design.
Although developed during WWI, the FT-17 remained in service with a number of countries well into the Second World War. Following the fall of France in 1940, many captured examples were taken into German service and used for security duties, training and local defence.
WS319 depicts Renault FT-17 #121 in German service, finished to complement King & Country’s WWII Wehrmacht range. Its compact size and distinctive silhouette make it particularly suited to occupation, rear-area or defensive dioramas.
Produced as a Limited Edition of only 150 pieces worldwide, WS319 is a particularly collectible retired King & Country armoured vehicle.
