WSP-65 – The Traders

The North American fur trade created an enormous network connecting remote wilderness regions with trading posts and settlements. Beaver pelts and other furs passed through the hands of trappers and traders before beginning the long journey to markets in the east and eventually Europe.

WSP-65 – The Traders depicts men engaged in the commercial side of frontier life, representing the bargaining and exchange that lay behind the romantic image of the mountain man.

This set makes an excellent centrepiece for a trading-post or rendezvous scene, particularly when surrounded by trappers arriving with their pelts, Native American traders, pack animals and stacks of frontier supplies.
