The expansion of law and order across the Canadian West brought the North-West Mounted Police into an enormous and often challenging territory. Established in 1873, the force was tasked with maintaining order, enforcing Canadian law and asserting government authority across the western frontier.

WSP-68 – The Press Gang presents a lively scene involving members of the NWMP and the colourful characters they encountered. Rather than a formal parade or static mounted-police display, the set captures the rough-and-ready atmosphere of frontier life.
