CS01167 - 11th Mississippi Ammo Carrier | The Collectors Showcase

From command and colour-bearing to rifle fire, ammunition duties and casualties, the 11th Mississippi figures tell different parts of a connected story. The regiment's costly role in Pickett's Charge gives this range a powerful historical setting for an American Civil War display.

The 11th Mississippi Ammo Carrier represents the men and supplies needed to support a regiment's firing line. It offers a different point of interest from the armed soldiers, showing the practical demands that accompanied every advance or defensive action. Placed behind the firing and reloading miniatures, this figure helps create a layered scene in which the working life of the formation is visible.

Part of the 54mm 11th Mississippi series, this miniature can be grouped with the regiment's officers, colours, riflemen and support figures. Together they make an evocative Confederate infantry display, particularly one inspired by the costly fighting at Pickett's Charge.
