INCA-06B – Inca Warrior

INCA-06B adds another individual warrior to John Jenkins Designs' representation of the Inca Empire.

The Inca state expanded rapidly during the century before the arrival of the Spanish, incorporating numerous peoples across an enormous and geographically challenging territory. Military power played an important role in that expansion, although diplomacy, political alliances and incorporation into the imperial system were also significant.

This warrior can therefore be used in scenes representing the empire before the Spanish conquest as well as in displays centred upon the upheavals of the 1530s.

The individual pose works naturally among larger groups. Position him beside a Halberdier, in front of slingers or among a mixed body of Inca troops to create a formation with greater visual variety.

With enough different poses, the collection can convey the scale of an imperial army without looking artificially uniform.
