JR-27B – Jacobite Lowland Infantry – Battle of Culloden
The Battle of Culloden lasted less than an hour, yet its consequences reached far beyond the battlefield.
JR-27B adds another Lowland infantryman to the Jacobite force that confronted the Duke of Cumberland's government army on 16 April 1746.
The Jacobite battle line contained troops with different regional backgrounds, equipment and battlefield experience. Representing those differences gives a Culloden collection much more depth than an army composed solely of Highland warriors.
This individual figure can be mixed with JR-27A or inserted among the larger JR-27N set to break up repeated poses.
Position the Lowlanders behind uneven moorland terrain, with Highland formations nearby and Cumberland's army opposite, and the scene begins to capture the scale and complexity of the final Jacobite battle.
Available through The Military Workshop – a useful John Jenkins Designs Lowland infantry figure for collectors building the Jacobite army at Culloden.
