CF034 – The Universal Fritz
During the Second World War, the German infantryman, often referred to as the "Fritz" by Allied soldiers, formed the backbone of the German armed forces. From the early Blitzkrieg campaigns of 1939–40 through to the final battles in Europe, German infantry endured some of the most demanding conditions of modern warfare, fighting across deserts, forests, cities and frozen landscapes.
The Military Workshop's CF034 – The Universal Fritz represents the typical German soldier of the Second World War, equipped for the many campaigns and environments in which he served. Designed as a versatile figure, this model captures the appearance and equipment of the ordinary infantryman who carried the burden of frontline combat.
An excellent addition for collectors and diorama builders, this figure provides a realistic foundation for creating a wide range of Second World War scenes.
