MLB013B – German Gestapo Agent, Black Coat
The Geheime Staatspolizei, better known as the Gestapo, was the secret state police organisation of Nazi Germany. Established in 1933, it became one of the principal instruments of state security and political repression within the Third Reich. Tasked with identifying and suppressing opposition to the regime, the Gestapo operated throughout Germany and occupied Europe, relying on investigations, informants and extensive intelligence networks.
Gestapo agents often worked in plain clothes rather than military uniform, allowing them to blend into civilian populations while conducting surveillance, interrogations and security operations. The image of the dark-coated Gestapo officer has become one of the most recognisable symbols of the internal security apparatus of wartime Germany.
The Military Workshop's MLB013B – German Gestapo Agent, Black Coat faithfully recreates one of these plain-clothed security officers. Rich in historical detail and character, this figure is ideal for dioramas depicting occupied Europe, resistance operations, headquarters scenes or civilian settings during the Second World War.
An excellent addition for collectors and historians, this figure represents an important and recognisable element of the complex political and military history of the Second World War, adding authenticity and historical depth to any period display.
