NA561 – The Duke of Wellington

Few commanders in British military history enjoy a reputation equal to Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington. Rising through the ranks during the Napoleonic Wars, Wellington earned his place among history's greatest generals through brilliant leadership, meticulous planning and an unwavering determination to defeat Napoleon Bonaparte.

Following successful campaigns in India, Wellington commanded British, Portuguese and Spanish forces throughout the Peninsular War, steadily driving the French from the Iberian Peninsula. His greatest triumph came on 18 June 1815 at the Battle of Waterloo, where, alongside Prussian Field Marshal Gebhard von Blücher, he defeated Napoleon's army and brought the Napoleonic Wars to their dramatic conclusion.

King & Country's NA561 "The Duke of Wellington" captures the famous British commander in all the dignity and confidence befitting one of Britain's greatest military leaders. Beautifully sculpted and hand-painted, the figure is an ideal centrepiece for any Napoleonic collection.

Available to purchase through The Military Workshop website, NA561 is an essential figure for collectors recreating the Waterloo campaign or assembling the great personalities of the Napoleonic era.
