ACE-10P – Captain Arthur Roy Brown
Canadian fighter pilot Captain Arthur Roy Brown became one of the best-known Allied airmen of the First World War. Serving with the Royal Naval Air Service and later the Royal Air Force, Brown flew numerous combat operations over the Western Front.
His name is forever associated with the final combat of Manfred von Richthofen, the “Red Baron,” on 21 April 1918. Brown was officially credited at the time with shooting Richthofen down, although the exact circumstances of the Red Baron’s death have remained the subject of considerable historical debate.
ACE-10P – Captain Arthur Roy Brown provides collectors with an important personality from the dramatic air war of 1914–1918 and makes an excellent companion to First World War aircraft and pilot figures.
Available from The Military Workshop – a fascinating John Jenkins personality figure depicting one of Canada’s best-known First World War fighter pilots.
