ACWM-04 – U.S. Marines, 2 Marines Loading and Firing #2

During the American Civil War, the United States Marine Corps remained closely connected with naval operations, serving aboard warships, guarding naval facilities and taking part in operations ashore. Although far smaller than the Union Army, the Marines maintained their distinctive identity throughout the conflict.

ACWM-04 – U.S. Marines, 2 Marines Loading and Firing #2 depicts two Marines at different stages of the firing process, bringing movement and variety to a Marine firing line.

Combined with ACWM-03 and the standing Marine sets, these figures allow collectors to create a much more active detachment, with some men firing while others reload and prepare their weapons.
