COND-01 – Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf. A
When the Spanish Civil War erupted in 1936, Germany's intervention provided an opportunity to deploy personnel and equipment in support of the Nationalist forces and gain experience with modern warfare.
Among the German vehicles sent to Spain was the Panzerkampfwagen I, a small two-man light tank armed with twin machine guns. Lightly protected and outgunned by more heavily armed opponents, it nevertheless became an important part of Germany's early armoured development.
COND-01 – PzKpfw I Ausf. A represents this formative period before the famous German Panzers of WWII.
