Early Spanish expeditions relied on relatively small numbers of fighting men, making the combination of different weapons particularly important.

CQ-22 – Arquebus & Crossbow supplies two more missile troops for the formation.

Rather than arranging them in a perfectly straight line, these figures can be scattered behind cover or among the heavier infantry, giving the display the irregular character of troops fighting in unfamiliar terrain.
