CS00491 - 5th New York Firing | The Collectors Showcase

Union infantry formations faced moments of intense movement followed by the concentrated work of firing and reloading. These 5th New York figures bring several aspects of that experience together, allowing collectors to build a coordinated regimental scene.

The CS00491 - 5th New York Firing figure captures a particular moment from this wider setting. The firing subject places the emphasis on a soldier actively engaged in the line. Its action-oriented pose makes it suitable for an infantry exchange or as part of a larger coordinated formation.

Its effect is particularly strong when contrasted with the different postures and actions of the other 5th New York soldiers.

Designed to complement the other 5th New York figures, this 54mm Civil War piece adds variety and a distinctive moment to a larger Union regimental diorama.
