CS00495 - 5th New York Command | The Collectors Showcase

A convincing Civil War display is shaped by the smaller moments within a larger battle. The 5th New York series ranges from the urgency of advancing soldiers to leadership and the effects of enemy fire.

The CS00495 - 5th New York Command figure captures a particular moment from this wider setting. The command grouping draws attention to the people directing a unit. It makes a strong centrepiece when combined with soldiers in motion, allowing a formation to suggest leadership as well as action.

This three-figure command set creates a strong focal point for the surrounding 5th New York soldiers. Its effect is particularly strong when contrasted with the different postures and actions of the other 5th New York soldiers.

Designed to complement the other 5th New York figures, this 54mm Civil War piece adds variety and a distinctive moment to a larger Union regimental diorama.
