CS01136 - Wheats Drummer | The Collectors Showcase

The action-packed Wheat's Tigers range evokes the shifting rhythm of a Confederate infantry engagement. A battle line needed leadership, reliable ammunition, clear signals and men ready to fight at close range; the different poses in this series bring those interconnected roles together.

The Wheat's Drummer provides a distinctive support subject for an American Civil War display. His role contrasts with the armed infantrymen and adds an important element of period military organisation. Grouped with the commander, flagbearer and bugler, he can form part of a command and communications area that balances the more animated charging and firing poses.

This 54mm figure works particularly well alongside the other Wheat's Tigers releases, allowing collectors to portray a unit with command figures, firing positions, advancing men and battlefield support all represented together.
