CS1VCAV-02 – Trooper – 1st Virginia Cavalry Regiment

The 1st Virginia Cavalry was organised in 1861 and became one of the best-known mounted regiments serving with the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia.

Its troopers performed the traditional cavalry duties of reconnaissance, screening, raiding and mounted combat, often operating well ahead of the main army.

CS1VCAV-02 represents one of these Confederate cavalrymen and is a natural companion to Colonel J.E.B. Stuart.

Whether displayed on patrol, forming for action or riding with a larger body of cavalry, the figure helps build the rank-and-file strength behind the famous commander.
