CSBS-14 – Dismounted Confederate Cavalryman
Civil War cavalrymen did not always fight from horseback. When circumstances required it, troopers could dismount and fight on foot, using their horses primarily to provide mobility to and from the battlefield.
CSBS-14 captures a Confederate cavalryman in this dismounted role.
He is ideal for woodland edges, fences, farm buildings and other positions where fighting on horseback would be impractical. A horse held or tethered nearby can further emphasise his identity as a cavalryman rather than ordinary infantry.
Available from The Military Workshop – a versatile John Jenkins Designs dismounted Confederate trooper bringing another dimension to Civil War cavalry warfare.
