GGC-35 – German Mechanic on Ladder

Early aircraft required constant inspection and maintenance, much of it performed directly on the airframe between flights.

GGC-35 portrays a German mechanic working from a ladder, immediately introducing height and activity into an airfield display.

Place him beside a suitable aircraft as though inspecting the engine, upper fuselage or another difficult-to-reach component. The ladder also breaks up the predominantly horizontal appearance of aircraft and ground figures, making the overall scene visually more interesting.
