GLA-05W – ANZACs Charging – White Shirts – Gallipoli

The word ANZAC originated from the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, but Gallipoli transformed it into something far more enduring within the national memory of both countries.

GLA-05W represents ANZAC troops charging in white shirts, capturing the moment when soldiers leave whatever protection they have and move forward into exposed ground.

The lighter shirts give these figures a particularly striking appearance and help convey the practical, campaign-worn look of men operating in the Mediterranean heat.

Combine GLA-05W with the other charging releases to create an irregular wave rather than a neat line. Casualties and officers can then be placed among them to build a much more dramatic narrative across the terrain.

Available from The Military Workshop – an action-filled John Jenkins Designs set capturing ANZAC troops pressing forward during the hard-fought Gallipoli Campaign.
