GLT-06 – Turkish Infantry Firing

Gallipoli quickly demonstrated the effectiveness of well-positioned infantry defending difficult terrain.

GLT-06 – Turkish Infantry Firing adds another firing pose to the Ottoman forces, allowing a defensive line to be assembled with much greater variation.

The figure is ideally placed behind a trench parapet, among rocky terrain or on higher ground overlooking an Allied advance. Mixed with grenade throwers, machine-gun crews, engineers and snipers, the scene can develop into a complete Ottoman defensive position.

Variation is particularly important in a large firing line. Soldiers aiming, loading, observing and taking cover create a far more convincing scene than a row of identical figures.
