M-WIN-32 – Highlander Firing Musket

The alternate supplied listing for M-WIN-32 identifies the figure as a Highlander Firing Musket, placing him on the opposing side of the campaigns represented by the Maratha range.

The smoothbore musket was most effective as part of disciplined collective fire. Soldiers trained to load, present and fire together could deliver volleys intended to disrupt an opposing formation before closing with the bayonet.

M-WIN-32 – Highlander Firing Musket captures the moment of discharge and works particularly well when combined with loading and advancing figures. Rather than every soldier performing exactly the same action, the unit can appear to be operating through the different stages of a firefight.

Place him alongside M-WIN-23 Highlander Loading Musket and M-WIN-20 Highlander Advancing with Musket to create a much more convincing British infantry formation.
