TH-11B – Thracian Peltast

Thracian warriors developed a reputation for mobility, aggression and skill with the javelin, qualities that made their peltasts highly sought-after as mercenaries throughout the Greek world.

TH-11B – Thracian Peltast adds another individual warrior to this distinctive light infantry force. Unlike heavily armoured troops intended to stand shoulder-to-shoulder, peltasts needed room to move, throw their weapons and quickly reposition themselves.

Combining the many different TH poses allows collectors to recreate a loose screen of skirmishers moving across the battlefield rather than a rigid infantry formation.

The Military Workshop is pleased to offer TH-11B as another versatile John Jenkins addition to a growing Thracian army.
