GGZ-32 – Eight inGobamakhosi Zulu Warriors with Muskets – Battle of Gingindlovu

The inGobamakhosi Regiment formed part of the Zulu force that attacked Lord Chelmsford's relief column at Gingindlovu on 2 April 1879.

The British force had established a carefully prepared defensive position, and the attacking Zulu regiments faced concentrated fire from Martini-Henry rifles, artillery, rockets and other supporting weapons as they attempted to close the distance.

GGZ-32 provides an impressive eight Zulu warriors armed with muskets, representing the inGobamakhosi Regiment during the battle.

The substantial figure count gives collectors an immediate body of firearm-equipped warriors rather than one or two isolated figures. Spread across the battlefield, they can support the spear-armed elements of the regiment and create a much richer representation of the Zulu force.

Combine them with GGZ-29, other inGobamakhosi warriors and the extensive British Eshowe Relief Column range to develop a large-scale recreation of Gingindlovu.

Available through The Military Workshop – an impressive eight-piece John Jenkins Designs set bringing the musket-armed warriors of the inGobamakhosi Regiment to the battlefield of Gingindlovu.
