CS01135 - Wheats Ammo Carrier | The Collectors Showcase

Wheat's Tigers stand out within the Confederate side of this American Civil War collection. The figures portray members of the unit in a variety of active battlefield situations, from officers and standard-bearers to men firing, reloading and meeting an enemy at close quarters.

The Ammo Carrier represents the supply work essential to keeping Wheat's Tigers in action. A soldier could fire only while ammunition remained available, and this supporting role adds context to the unit's firing and reloading poses. Positioned a short distance behind the fighting figures, the miniature introduces a believable link between the combat line and the resources that sustained it.

This 54mm figure works particularly well alongside the other Wheat's Tigers releases, allowing collectors to portray a unit with command figures, firing positions, advancing men and battlefield support all represented together.
