CS00976 - Irish Brigade Reb Hand to Hand | The Collectors Showcase
The experience of Union infantry is reflected in the Irish Brigade series, from the determination of soldiers moving into battle to the difficult moments of close fighting and injury. Each pose helps tell part of a wider battlefield story.
The CS00976 - Irish Brigade Reb Hand to Hand figure captures a particular moment from this wider setting. This hand-to-hand grouping depicts the immediacy of close combat between an Irish Brigade subject and a Confederate opponent. It is an especially dramatic centrepiece for an American Civil War battlefield arrangement.
The two-figure composition captures the tension of a close encounter between opposing soldiers. Paired with the brigade’s other subjects, it helps create a dramatic scene that balances regimental pride with the intensity of combat.
It complements the other 54mm Irish Brigade subjects, bringing additional atmosphere and storytelling potential to a Union Civil War display.
